Blindspot creator/executive producer Martin Gero and executive producer Alex Berger have teamed back up with NBC to create a new dramatic series. The show will have a father-daughter theme, and will be a murder/mystery written by Berger.

Here’s the synopsis from Deadline:

When a dogged young reporter witnesses the murder of her sister, she launches an investigation to find the people responsible, enlisting the help of her estranged father – a legendary but reclusive investigative journalist.

The hit series Blindspot ran for five successful seasons, and Gero already has another series that was fast-tracked to NBC’s upcoming fall schedule, a coronavirus-era comedy called Connecting. Berger has a long track record of successful shows as well, including The Mentalist, Franklin & Bash, The Assets, Covert Affairs, K-Ville, and Commander in Chief. So this is probably a series to watch for.
