Blizzard Launches DIABLO Through GOG with Plans for WARCRAFT and WARCRAFT II
The first Blizzard game I ever played was Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. Then I played Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, and I loved both games. Now I may get to relive those days as Blizzard has apparently partnered with GOG.com to bring the games back to work on modern systems. This revelation came as a slightly improved version of Diablo was released the other day to the surprise of many fans. No specific dates have been given for Warcraft and Warcraft II, but this return to classic gaming is a welcome one for many fans as Blizzard is working on World of Warcraft Classic and Warcraft III: Reforged. Of course, it should be noted that fans should not be expecting remasters or updated graphics for the first two Warcraft games as the Diablo launch seemed to be more of a stable port that addressed issues of actually running the game on a modern OS.
You can pick up Diablo now on GOG for $9.99.
