Blizzard Reveals How They Plan to Address Some Problems in WARCRAFT III: REFORGED and Are Offering Refunds to Disappointed Players
The launch of Warcraft III: Reforged has been shaky at best. Fans are feeling abandoned and cheated. Well, Blizzard seems to be taking some steps in the right direction. According to Polygon, fans can submit tickets to Blizzard’s support team and get a refund. This is a great start to extending an olive branch, but it’s not all.
If you’re willing to be patient with the game, Blizzard recently released a statement on their forum addressing some of the concerns fans have had and how they’re going to handle them. For instance, leaderboards and clans will be coming to the game and returning to non-Reforged games as well. The catch has been a transition to their new MMR system on the back-end. They say they’ll update fans in the coming weeks as that work progresses. Once again, another great start to repairing relations with the fans. My only note is that I think many fans would’ve preferred a simple delay to the launch to receiving what feels like an incomplete title.
Are these steps in the right direction good enough to convince you to get the game? Is it not enough and you’ll be returning it? What has your experience with Reforged been like?
