BLOOD FATHER: New Trailer and Poster For The Mel Gibson Action Thriller

Lionsgate just dropped a new teaser poster, trailer, and release date for Mel Gibson's upcoming action movie Blood Father. While it looks like a pretty solid thriller and I'm sure most people will be perfectly content to simply watch the movie and completely divorce themselves from Gibson's off-screen behavior, I'm fascinated by the connections that can be drawn between his real life and what we see in this movie. The trailer shows Gibson's character telling his daughter that she'll face God for the mistakes she's made, and it's interesting to wonder if the actor might be working through some of his own past issues on screen here. If not, at least it looks like it has some cool action for fans to enjoy.
