Bloody Entertaining Trailer For The Hit Japanese Zombie Comedy ONE CUT OF THE DEAD

In 2017 a new zombie comedy was released in Japan called One Cut of the Dead and it became a big hit! The Shinichirou Ueda-directed movie ended up being a box office sensation and on top of that it was bombarded with rave reviews from the critics.

Well, the movie is finally going to get a theatrical release here in the states this September thanks to Shudder! For those of you not familiar with the film, Shudder has released a new trailer for you to enjoy and the following synopsis:

While shooting a low-budget zombie film in an abandoned warehouse, the crew find themselves caught between actual zombies and a mad director who won’t stop rolling. If you think you know what happens next, think again. Filmmaker Shinichiro Ueda turns the film on its head more than once for one of the wildest, funniest, and most surprising zombie movies of all time.

This movie looks like it’s going to be a shit-ton of bloody fun! I loved what this trailer had to show off from the film and I can’t wait to see it!

One Cut of the Dead will be released in select theaters in New York at the IC Center and Los Angeles at the Alamo Drafthouse Downtown on September 13th, 2019. That will be followed by over 60 one-night screenings across the U.S. and Canada slated for September 17, 2019 with additional screenings to follow. The film will then stream Shudder.
