Bob Odenkirk Says BETTER CALL SAUL Season 6 Will Make Fans See BREAKING BAD in a Different Light
AMC’s Fantatasic series Better Call Saul will soon be coming to an end. The series has taken us on the journey of Jimmy McGill’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the shady lawyer that was introduced to us in Breaking Bad. Well, according to the show’s star Bob Odenkirk, this final season might actually change our perspective on Breaking Bad.
While talking about the sixth season of Better Call Saul, Odenkirk told The Hollywood Reporter that after fans watch the final season, they’ll see Breaking Bad in a different light:
"I’ve been told by [co-creator] Peter Gould that when Better Call Saul wraps up, everyone will see Breaking Bad in a different light. I don’t know what that means… But I think there are more amazing things to come that will comment on or inform the actual incidents of Breaking Bad in a surprising way."
It’ll be interesting to see what exactly that means. We’ve already seen several characters from Breaking Bad show up in the series and fans are hoping to see Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul appear as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman at some point. Season 6 is the last season that the creative team will have to make that happen. There’s no news yet on if they will show up or not.
Better Call Saul Season 6 is currently filming, though its release date is unknown.
