Boba Fett Actor Temuera Morrison Isn't Sure If He'll Be Back For More STAR WARS and Discusses The Sarlacc Pitt

The Mandalorian Chapter 14 “The Tragedy” saw the badass return of Boba Fett and as you saw, it was spectacular! We know we’ll see the character again in the upcoming episode of The Mandalorian. We’ve heard rumors that the character was getting his own prequel spinoff show. But, actor Temuera Morrison doesn’t seem sure if he’ll return.

During a recent interview with The New York Times, Morrison was asked if he would be back for The Mandalorian or another Star Wars project, including that rumored Boba Fett spinoff. This was his reply to that:

“I’m just going to have to wait and see. I think a lot of it depends on how things go with this season, but I don’t really know. I wanted to bring everything I had to that [episode] and give them a glimmer of what I can offer. There’s room for this to go someplace. I hope I’m going to be included.”

Now, even if he is coming back for something, I’m pretty sure that he’s signed an agreement not to confirm anything. So, he very well could be coming back and he just can‘t say anything about it right now. None of the other actors from this season have confirmed their return either including Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka and Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan. But, we know they will because huge story plot points were brought up that need to be followed through with.

Morrison went on to talk about Boba Fett saying he doesn’t know how the character survived the Sarlacc Pitt. When asked about it, he said:

“Ah, no, I don’t. There’s quite a bit of loose ends, and I’m not one of those guys that knows too much about the actual history. The fans of Star Wars, they have better knowledge of, What’s happened? How can he still be alive? I thought he was stuck in this place? I can find out more on the internet.”

Morrison also amusingly expressed his excitement to work with Grogu, saying:

“Baby Yoda’s probably the biggest actor in Hollywood at the moment, but I never got to work with him very closely or with the people who move him around. I was using him in a not-so-good way, as bait. But hopefully I’ll get to meet him and we can have a little bonding session.”

The next episode of The Mandalorian drops on Disney+ this Friday! We’ve only got two episodes left!
