Boba Fett Actor Temuera Morrison Rumored To Appear in Lucasfilm's OBI-WAN KENOBI Series
There’s a lot of Star Wars awesomeness coming to Disney+ thanks to Lucasfilm and one of the many live-action series fans are excited about is Obi-Wan-Kenobi. Ewan McGregor is set to reprise his role as Kenobi and Hayden Christensen is confirmed to be reprising the role of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
A new rumor has now surfaced regarding the series from Kessel Run Transmissions saying that Boba Fett actor Temuera Morrison, who recently appeared in Season 2 of The Mandalorian will be joining the new series as well.
According to the report, Morrison won’t be playing Boba Fett in the series. Instead, it’s being speculated that he might be taking on the role of Commander Cody from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Commander Cody was a strong ally for the Jedi in The Clone Wars, even though he turned on them and tried to kill Obi-Wan when Emperor Palpatine issued Order 66. It would’ve certainly been an interesting reunion between the two characters.
Of course, Morrison could also play Captain Rex, but if he shows up in a live-action series, it seems more likely that he’ll have a role in Ahsoka. We’ll just have to wait and see how this shakes out!
