Boba Fett Confirmed to Be in THE MANDALORIAN Season 2 and He Will Be Played by Temuera Morrison

I think we all expected to see Boba Fett show up in The Mandalorian Season 2, but it has now been confirmed! The fan-favorite Star Wars character will be back and he will be played by Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in 2002's Star Wars: Attack of the Clones!

Hell yeah! This is just getting better and better! The famed bounty hunter originally appeared in animated form in the Star Wars Christmas Special and he made his first appearance on the big screen Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. He seemingly died in 1983's Return of the Jedi as he fell into a sarlacc pit. Thankfully, he didn’t stay dead.

Boba Fett, who was a clone being raised as a son by Jango, was teased in the season one episode "The Gunslinger," when a mysterious figure sporting the bounty hunter's trademark spurs approached the apparently lifeless body of Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), who is also said to be coming back.

The Mandalorian season two is slated to bow in October on Disney+, and will also include series newcomer Michael Biehn and features directors such as Robert Rodriguez and Peyton Reed. It was also previously reported that Jon Favreau and Carl Weathers would each direct an episode, and it’s been said that Bryce Dallas Howard returned to direct and Dave Filoni will be back to direct one as well.

Boba Fett is said to only have a small role in the series, but we’ll have to wait and see if that ends up turning into something bigger. I wonder if we’ll see him come face to face with The Mando. I’m so freakin’ excited about this! Boba Fett is back, baby!
