Boba Fett Joins STAR WARS VILLAINOUS Board Game This August
Last week, Ravensburger announced the first expansion for Star Wars Villainous. The new Star Wars Villainous: Scum and Villainy expansion will launch this August and bring the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett into the game. There are two additional villains that will be added, but they haven’t been released yet, but fans can look forward to that information next month when pre-orders open. If I had to guess, I would assume we’re looking at two famous bounty hunters such as Bossk and IG-88.
In Star Wars Villainous: Scum and Villainy, players will choose to play with one of three iconic Villains from the Star Wars galaxy, including Boba Fett. Depending on their Villain’s unique power, players will use their Villain’s “Ambition” to perform actions that power effects based on the Villain’s use of the Force, strategic leadership, or sheer luck. The game also incorporates Villain-specific missions and rules for iconic ships and transports from all corners of the Star Wars galaxy.
Talking about bringing Boba Fett into the game, Florian Baldenhofer of Ravensburger shared:
As we near 4 million Villainous games sold worldwide, we are excited to expand the Star Wars Villainous galaxy, with Boba Fett, the most highly requested Villain in the galaxy. But Boba Fett isn't the only beloved bad guy for hire in ‘Scum and Villainy,’ as we’ll reveal two more notorious Star Wars characters that fans are sure to recognize.
You can look forward to play Star Wars Villainous: Scum and Villainy this August with an MSRP of $29.99. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of Star Wars Villainous, but let me know how I’m wrong in the comments below as well as who you think will be joining Boba Fett in the new expansion.
