Boba Fett Takes Charge in New Trailer For Lucasfilm's THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT
The Star Wars YouTube Channel has released a new trailer for Lucasfilm’s The Book of Boba Fett! This trailer focuses on Boba Fett as he sheds his Bounty Hunter past and takes control of the criminal underworld. The trailer also features some new footage including a quick glimpse at a new character who comes racing into action.
At one point, Boba Fett is asked what would prevent the other gangsters from killing him, he responds, “Why speak of conflict, when corporation can make us all rich.” He makes a good point! But, that doesn’t meant that people aren’t going to come after him to try and kill him!
Temuera Morrison previously said, “In the Book of Boba Fett, we’re gonna find out where he’s been and about how he’s changing. Jon Favreau added, “What happened in those years, between then and the end of Return of the Jedi, and then also see what Boba Fett would be like now.”
The Book of Boba Fett tells “a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”
The Book of Boba Fett also stars Ming-Na Wen. The series is also executive produced by Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
The Book of Boba Fett series is set to be released on Disney+ on December 29th.
