BOND 25 Gets a 2019 Release Date!

MovieBond 25by Joey Paur

The twenty-fifth installment of the James Bond franchise has been given a released date of November 8th, 2019.

The announcement comes from producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, EON Productions and Gary Barber, Chairman & CEO, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.

Bond 25 is set to be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who are long time collaborators and writers on the previous Bond films such as Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre

There are no details regarding the story or even who is playing Bond. Last we heard Daniel Craig was rumored to be coming back, but that hasn't been confirmed. Regardless, I think Craig will be back for at least one more movie. I'll be surprised if he's not.

A director for the film also hasn't been announced but I imagine all of these additional details will be revealed in time. If they were confident enough to reveal a release date, I assume they are getting close to locking a director and star down.

Would you like to see Craig back in the role of 007? Who would you like to see come on board to direct the film?
