BOOM! Studios Free Comic Book Day POWER RANGERS and LUMBERJANES Titles to Release in July and August
Free Comic Book Day was sadly canceled this year. Thankfully, many comic book publishers are coming up with other times to release the stories they had planned. BOOM! Studios was ready to release Lumberjanes: Farewell to Summer and Power Rangers: Ranger Slayer and now, these exciting comics have new release dates.
Lumberjanes will launch on August 5 and gives fans a preview of the upcoming event, The End of Summer, which will start with Lumberjanes #73. It is written and illustrated by a team including Aubrey Aiese, Dozerdraws, Maarta Laiho, Casey Nowak, polterink, Sarah Stern, and co-creator Brooklyn Allen.
Meanwhile, fans can learn the origins of the Ranger Slayer in Ranger Slayer on July 15! This is a week before Ranger Slayer #1 and the press release teases that at the end of the issue, there will be “a surprise appearance that will lead to one of the biggest moments in Power Rangers history!” WHAT COULD IT BE!?
Physical copies will be available at local comic shops for free on the respective days.
