BOOM! Studios Launches Kickstarter for Deluxe Hardcover Editions of MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS Comics
BOOM! Studios has a new treat for fans of the Power Rangers comics. They recently launched a new pre-order campaign via Kickstarter where fans can get six awesome new hardcovers that include the entire 55-issue series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as well as several key tie-in issues. There are three different editions for fans to consider and three different levels.
MIGHTY Editions: these Deluxe format hardcovers feature artwork by Goñi Montes exclusive to this campaign and not available on any other collected editions.
MORPHIN Editions: these Deluxe format hardcovers feature the previously mentioned cover artwork AND an exclusive slipcase featuring new artwork Goñi Montes, both of which will only be available through this campaign.
MEGAZORD Editions: these Deluxe format hardcovers feature the previously mentioned cover artwork, the previously mentioned exclusive slipcase, AND an acetate sleeve featuring new artwork of a portion of the Megazord.
The three levels that you can get the above editions in are as individual volumes, a complete set, and an ultra-premium collectible set. In addition, there are limited autograph tiers where fans can get copies autographed by Jason David Frank, Amy Jo Johnson, David Yost, Walter Jones, Karan Ashley, and Steve Cardenas. Each Power Ranger star will autograph volumes that feature their character on the cover. Here’s the volume breakdown:

Each volume is set to contain 10-12 issues, a new original story, and a cover gallery to bring the page count to 350-500 pages. This set looks absolutely incredible, albeit pricey. A single Mighty edition costs $100 and the Mighty set costs $500! While I love these comics, it can definitely be hard to justify this cost.
