BOOM! Studios Unveils Fantastic Cover for the Graphic Novel Adaptation of SLAUGHTERHOUSE-FIVE

Author Ryan North, artist Albert Monteys, and colorist Ricard Zaplana are turning Kurt Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse-Five into a graphic novel through BOOM! Studios’ Archaia imprint. Now, the cover art has finally been revealed and it’s pretty fantastic. The design for the new cover comes from Scott Newman and then Monteys provided the art.

Listen: Billy Pilgrim has...

...read Kilgore Trout
...opened a successful optometry business
...built a loving family
...witnessed the firebombing of Dresden
...traveled to the planet Tralfamadore
...met Kurt Vonnegut

...come unstuck in time.

Billy Pilgrim’s journey is at once a farcical look at the horror and tragedy of war where children are placed on the frontlines and die (so it goes), and a moving examination of what it means to be fallibly human.

Slaughterhouse-Five will be available to read on September 9 from local comic shops and September 15 from bookstores. If you’re more of a digital comic reader, then you will be able to purchase it from comiXology, iBooks, Google Play, and Madefire.
