Brad Pitt and TOP GUN: MAVERICK Director Joseph Kosinski Team Up for a Formula 1 Racing Film

Brad Pitt has teamed up with Tron: Legacy and Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski for an untitled film set in the world of Formula 1 racing.

No information has been shared regarding the story the film will tell, but it’s said that British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton is involved in some capacity.

This project has sparked a major bidding war in Hollywood with studios such as MGM, Sony, Universal, Disney, Netflix, Apple and Amazon competing competing to lock it down.

Jerry Bruckheimer is attached to produce the film, and Ehren Kruger will be writing the script. Kruger is know for films such as Top Gun: Maverick, Ghost in the Shell, three of the worst Transformers films, The Ring, and more.
