Bradley Cooper and Clint Eastwood May Be Teaming Up Again For THE MULE

Bradley Cooper and Clint Eastwood may be reuniting for the upcoming film project The Mule. The two previously worked together on the fantastic film American Sniper

Eastwood is set to star in and direct the film and its said that this could very well be the last film that he ever stars in. The last movie that Eastwood appeared in was the 2012 baseball drama Trouble With the Curve alongside Amy Adams

The Mule will tell the true story of Leo Sharp, who was a 90-year-old drug smuggler. Eastwood will be playing the film version of Sharp in the film. The movie is based on a The New York Times Magazine article and thanks to Variety we have a plot summary for the movie.

The film follows Earl Stone (Eastwood), "a man in his 80s who is broke, alone, and facing foreclosure of his business when he is offered a job that simply requires him to drive — easy enough. But unbeknownst to Earl, he’s signed on as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel, and also hit the radar of hard-charging DEA agent Colin Bates"

Bradley Cooper will be taking on the role of Colin Bates. The actor is currently finishing up hie directorial debut, A Star Is Born, with Lady Gaga, and he will next star in and direct his the Leonard Bernstein biopic Bernstein.

I like what Cooper and Eastwood did with American Sniper, so I'm looking forward to see how this next project of theirs turns out if Cooper ends up joining it.
