New BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE Poster Released Ahead of This Thursday's Trailer

A new poster has been released for one of this year’s most anticipated films, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The full trailer is set to drop this Thursday, so this is a fun little teaser for us to enjoy before it gets here.

The film features returning cast members Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara, and newcomers Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, Justin Theroux, and Monica Bellucci.

Here’s the official plot synopsis: “After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River.

“Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened.

“With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.”

The upcoming sequel is said to be a real throwback to the hand-crafted days of the 1980s, with director Tim Burton employing practical effects and classic stop motion as much as possible. Burton collaborator Danny Elfman is back to compose the film’s score.

The screenplay is written by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar (Wednesday), from a story by Gough & Millar and Seth Grahame-Smith (The LEGO® Batman Movie), based on characters created by Michael McDowell & Larry Wilson.

Check out the new poster below, stay tuned for the trailer this week, and get ready to watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in theaters on September 6th.
