We’ve got a trailer for you to check out from a Netflix original series called Spinning Out that follows a girl who endures an injury while figure skating and has to navigate getting back on the ice amid her fears and insecurities. Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, Crawl) stars as Kat Baker, with Mitchell Edwards, Svetlana Efremova, Charlie Hewson, January Jones, Will Kemp, Kaitlyn Leeb, Evan Roderick, Willow Shields, Sarah Wright, Amanda Zhou, and figure skater Johnny Weir.

Here’s the synopsis:

After a devastating fall threatens her competitive skating career, Kat Baker seizes an opportunity to pursue her Olympic dreams, but at the risk of losing everything. Spinning Out follows Kat as she battles her personal demons and faces drama both on and off the ice.

It’s a very dramatic series that seems like one that teens will enjoy. Check out the trailer below, and watch Spinning Out on Netflix beginning January 1, 2020.
