Brandon Routh, Mena Suvari, and Cheech Marin Set to Star Suspense Romance Movie FATE THE MOVIE
Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), Mena Suvari (American Pie) and Cheech Marin (Cheech & Chong) are set to star in a new film titled Fate The Movie. The project is described as a suspenseful romance.
The synopsis for the film reads: “It takes a minute to find a special person and an entire lifetime to forget them. While healing at a rehabilitation center after a rescue mission gone wrong, a firefighter Sam Ellis (Routh) connects with Tilly, a stranger from the past.
“Subsequently, he’s transported through time to find the only thing that can save his soul: his realization of true love.”
The rest of the cast includes Faye Dunaway, Harvey Keitel and Andrew McCarthy. The movie was written and directed by Jonathan Baker, who is currently shooting in Vancouver.
Baker shared in a statement: “We’re honored to welcome Brandon Routh, Mena Suvari, and Cheech Marin to our extraordinary cast on Fate The Movie, which is going to be the second to last film I ever make.
“Their collective talent, along with the esteemed contributions of Hollywood Legends Faye Dunaway, Harvey Keitel, and Andrew McCarthy, adds immense depth to our film. With this dream cast, we’re thrilled to bring this epic love story to life in an unforgettable way.”
