Brec Bassinger Joins 47 METERS DOWN - UNCAGED

Brec Bassinger was cast in DC’s Stargirl a while back, and now she has a new role for the film 47 Meters Down – Uncaged. She will essentially play the movie’s Regina George. Her character is described as “the popular, self-entitled leader of a group of mean girls.” Tell me that’s not Regina George.

“The film will tell the story of four teens diving in a ruined underwater city, who quickly find themselves in a watery hell as their adventure turns to horror when they learn they are not alone in the submerged caves.”

47 Meters Down – Uncaged is set to begin principal photography this week in the Dominican Republic with Johannes Roberts serving as director. The script was co-written by Roberts and Ernest Riera. James Harris, Robert Jones, and Mark Lane are producing the film with Byron Allen, Carolyn Folks, and Jennifer Lucas serving as executive producers.

47 Meters Down - Uncaged is set to premiere on June 28, 2019.
