Brenda Song and Lex Scott Lee Join Kat Dennings in DOLLFACE on Hulu

Hulu has a new comedy from writer Jordan Weiss and producers Brett Hedblom, Scott Morgan, Margot Robbie, and Bryan Unkeless called Dollface. It will star Kat Dennings and it has just added Lex Scott Davis and Brenda Song to play opposite Dennings.

“Dollface follows a young woman (Dennings) who – after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend – must deal with her own imagination in order to literally and metaphorically re-enter the world of women, and rekindle the female friendships she left behind.”

According to Deadline, Song will portray Madison Maxwell, “Jules’ (Dennings) former best friend. She’s confident, assertive, and distinctly feminine. Madison works in PR, think Prom Queen meets Class President.”

Meanwhile, Davis will be Madison’s other best friend from college, Stella Cole. Stella is described as “effervescent, effortlessly cool, and filled with a childlike sense of wonder (if children wondered about things like ecstasy, vintage furniture and Peruvian soundbaths).”
