Brett Goldstein to Write and Star in Male Escort Comedy Series at Prime with SHRINKING's Brian Gallivan Co-Showrunning
Brett Goldstein, best known for writing and starring in Ted Lasso, as well as a supporting role in Shrinking, is heading up a new series at Prime titled Escorted.
The logline for the show states, “A divorced dad (Goldstein) in Manhattan accidentally becomes a male escort in this romantic comedy about second chances, the mayhem of co-parenting, and whether real intimacy can ever be bought.”
In addition to starring, Goldstein is the writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner on the series. Brian Gallivan, who currently works with Goldstein on the critically-acclaimed Apple TV show Shrinking, will also executive produce and serve as co-showrunner.
Cooper Wehde and Josh Senior from The Bear will also executive produce along with Molly Mandel. Warner Bros. Television, where Goldstein is under an overall deal, is the lead studio, with Amazon MGM Studios also producing.
