Brian Cox and Sinqua Walls Star in Trailer for Veteran Drama MENDING THE LINE

A new trailer has been released for the veteran drama Mending the Line, starring Brian Cox (Succession) and Sinqua Walls (Teen Wolf, White Men Can’t Jump). They are joined by Perry Mattfeld (In the Dark), Chris Galust (Give Me Liberty), Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond), and Wes Studi (A Million Ways to Die in the West).

Check out the synopsis:

“In the film, John Cotler, a wounded veteran, returns to the States still carrying the demons of war, hauntingly disturbed by the everyday expectations of friendships and love interests. In Livingston, Montana, he meets Ike, a surly, headstrong fly-fisherman more than twice his age, and Lucy, a talented photographer turned librarian who reads aloud to veterans, both struggling in their own way. While getting treatment for his wounds, both physical and psychological, Colter wants only to re-enlist, to have something to die for. But the real challenge is finding something to live for.”

This looks like a really good drama about the struggle of PTSD in our veterans. It’s an important story, and it seems to be really well-written and acted. Check out the trailer for the film below, and watch Mending the Line in theaters on June 9th.
