Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton (Sling Blade, Goliath), and Alfre Woodard (Captain America: Civil War, Luke Cage) have joined the cast of the Russo Brothers’ upcoming film The Gray Man at Netflix. The star-studded cast already has Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, and Jessica Henwick in leading roles. The story is based on the novel by Mark Greaney with a screenplay by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse, with writing credits to Joe Russo and Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The Gray Man will be the biggest-budget feature film in Netflix’s history, and they were quick to pick it up when it went up for grabs last summer.

The Gray Man is the first novel to feature the Gray Man, freelance assassin and former CIA operative Court Gentry. The action thriller will follow Gentry (Gosling) as he’s hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former cohort at the CIA. The film is based on the first installment of the book series.

This is an incredible cast, and after some of the big blockbusters I’ve seen on Netflix over the past couple of years, it sounds like this is going to be a huge scale action flick, and that’s pretty exciting. Production on The Gray Man is starting in two weeks in Los Angeles. Are you intrigued?
