Brie Larson is Set to Star in and Direct an Indie Comedy Called UNICORN STORE

Brie Larson, who was recently confirmed in the role of Captain Marvel in Marvel Studios' upcoming film, is set to make her directorial debut with a new indie comedy called Unicorn Store. She will also star in and produce the film.

According to Variety, the story centers on “a woman who moves back in with her parents. She receives an invitation to a store that will test her ideas of what it really means to grow up.”

That’s a pretty vague summary, and I’m not sure what exactly it means, but I’m looking forward to finding out. The script was written by Samantha McIntyre and Larson is planning to start shooting the film in October.

It’s really cool to see young actors like this stretching their wings of creativity and trying new things like directing. Larson won a Best Actress Oscar for her role in Room, and she is also set to star in Kong: Skull Island, The Glass Castle, and Ben Wheatley’s Free Fire

It looks like Larson has a long and fruitful film career ahead of her.
