Brief Synopsis for Marvel's SHE-HULK Series Teases the Involvement of Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner
She-Hulk is one of the Marvel shows that I’m very much looking forward to seeing. I’m really hoping that they handle this character as well as they did in the most recent comic run.
While it might seem obvious that Mark Ruffalo’s version of Bruce Banner/Hulk could show up in the series because it centers around another Hulk character, a brief logline for the series has surfaced that confirms Jennifer Walter, a.k.a. She-Hulk, is the cousin of Banner and that she receives a blood transfusion from him.
“Also known as Jennifer Walters, She Hulk is a lawyer, and cousin of Bruce Banner, whose emergency blood transfusion from Bruce empowers her with Hulk-like abilities.”
So, it looks like there’s a good chance that Ruffalo’s Banner could appear in the series. I doubt he’ll have a very big role in it, but if he does appear it’s not hard to think that he will pop in every now and then throughout the show.
Marvel Studios is currently looking to cast Jennifer Walters, and they are on the hunt for an actress in her late 20s or early 30s to play the character and they are also looking for someone who has worked in comedic roles before. The casting sheet also reveals the studio is open to all ethnicities.
Are there any great comedic actresses that you think would be a great fit for the role? Do you think Bruce Banner will end up having a decent-sized role in the series? If he shows up, will he still be Smart Hulk from Endgame?
