Bring Your DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Characters Out of Strixhaven with Latest Unearthed Arcana

Strixhaven is a university of magic in the world of Magic: The Gathering. It looks like Wizards of the Coast is looking to bring the popular university to Dungeons & Dragons since the new Unearthed Arcana playtest material is titled “Mages of Strixhaven.”

In the Unearthed Arcana there are 5 new subclasses, one for each of the colleges of Strixhaven, available to spellcasters, but things are a little special. Each subclass is available to multiple classes. For example, the Mage of Lorehold subclass is available to Bards, Warlocks, and Wizards.

This is definitely an interesting take on the spellcasting classes and I’m interested to see it fleshed out and in action. Also, when you hit the point in your class where you get a new subclass feature, you get to pick from the list of features as long as you meet their prerequisites.
