Bruce Campbell Gives The EVIL DEAD Franchise The Ok To Move On Without Him
Bruce Campbell retired from portraying Ash earlier this year when Ash Vs. Evil Dead was cancelled by Starz, and apparently, he plans to stay retired. While his days with the franchise are done, Campbell did assure fans via Twitter he's absolutely cool with the franchise continuing on without him (via Bloody Disgusting):
Very groovy of him, especially since Rob Tapert has recently been speaking to Sam Raimi about what a new incarnation of the series would be like. Are you down to see the franchise try to survive without Ash, or are you wishing it would just die with him?
