Bruce Campbell is Ready To Be a Swindler and Shady Governor in The STAR WARS and STAR TREK Universes

Bruce Campbell has had quite a fun acting career and he’s gotten to play some great characters, one of his most iconic is Ash from the Evil Dead franchise. Campbell has also gotten to play some big franchises like Marvel in a cameo capacity.

Due to his age, he’s entering a new phase of his career on the kinds of characters that he can play. In a recent interview with /Film, the fan-favorite actor was asked if he would ever be interested in joining the Star Wars and Star Trek franchises, and he shared the kinds of characters that he’d like to play in those franchises, now I want to see him in those kinds of roles! He said:

"It depends on the part. Look, I'm entering the crooked politician phase of my career. I mean, I'm ready to be swindlers and shady governors and things like that of shady zones. I could be a traitor. I could do the shady stuff."

Yes! Let Campbell play the traitor and shady characters in these franchises! Those would be some interesting roles for him to take on and the fans would flip if he ever popped up in either of these franchises. These kinds of roles would also be very different from anything that he’s done before, but it’s easy to imagine him pulling off a swindler and shady governor roles. He could bring some fun charisma to these kinds of characters.

But, at the same time, he still needs to keep playing those awesomely quirky heroes that we love seeing him play. I have no idea if we’ll ever see Campbell jump into the Star Trek and Star Wars franchises, but is that something you’d like to see him do?
