Bruce Campbell Says ASH VS EVIL DEAD Has No Restrictions
io9 has released an interview with Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless that they conducted at Comic-Con last weekend for Ash Vs. Evil Dead. During the interview, Campbell was asked how much blood they were allowed to show in the series, and he went on to explain that they have absolutely no restrictions!
"Allowed to do? We're allowed to do as much blood as we want, which is a lot. We're going to do a lot of blood. This is Starz, there are zero content restrictions for this entire show. Words, boobies, carnage, mayhem, we can do anything we want on the show, which is very suitable for Evil Dead."
He also talks about his character, Ash, and how he's older but no different. He also talks about the younger actors who co-star in the series, and the torture they have to endure while making a series like this.
The second part of the interview is with with Lawless, who talks about her character, Ruby, and her obsession with Ash. She also offers up a few plot points of the story, but she's very careful in not spoiling anything.
Ash Vs. Evil Dead premieres on Halloween night, October 31st!
