Bruce Campbell Teases Possible ASH VS. EVIL DEAD Animated Series!
Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell’s Ash Vs. Evil Dead was a shit ton of bloody monstrous fun! It was canceled four years ago, and I’ve gotta say, I miss it. We got three seasons before Starz shut it down, but there’s a chance that the story will continue… in the form of an animated series!
Campbell teased in a recent interview at Comic-Con that an animated series is being discussed. While talking to Collider, he was asked if there had been any talks about continuing the series, and this was his response:
“Yeah… as an animated series. You pick up right where the show left off. You can do the future a lot easier in animation. I still sound like Ash, and you know, my voice hasn’t been as beat up as my body has been so I can still do that crap. So I’ll still do the video game. And we’re already talking about an animated [series].”
Hell yeah! That’s awesome! I’m totally up for an Ash Vs. Evil Dead animated series! That would be great, and it would allow Campbell to continue to play Ash for a little while longer.
The series finale of the series ended with Ash Williams in a post-apocalyptic future, which is presumably where Ash vs Evil Dead Season 4 would’ve been set. Maybe we will actually get to see that storyline play out! Hopefully, this animated series actually ends up happening!
What do you think about this? Would you want to see Ash Vs. Evil Dead continue as an animated series?
