Brutal and Bloody New Trailer for Sony's Marvel Movie KRAVEN THE HUNTER Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson

“Once you’re on his list, there's only one way off."

Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for its upcoming Marvel movie Kraven The Hunter, and it doesn’t hold back on the ultra-violence and blood. The story really wants you to know that this is going to be a brutal R-rated movie.

I’m sure that the hard-R rating is sure to entice some fans, but what really matters is the story that the film tells, and I hope this one delivers a solid story.

The trailer features a lot of new footage from the film after the film went through some extensive reshoots, and it also offers us a first look at the villain Rhino in the movie.

Kraven the Hunter is the visceral story about how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. Set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as Kraven.

In Kraven the Hunter, Russian immigrant Sergei Kravinoff is on a mission to prove that he is the greatest hunter in the world. Taylor-Johnson called the project “a Marvel movie grounded heavily in the real world. We know he is a fierce hunter, a highly trained killer.” He excitedly proclaimed, “F**k yeah, it will be rated R!”

J.C. Chandor is directing the movie from a script by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man), and it also stars Ariana DeBose as Calypso, Russell Crowe as Nikolai Kravinoff, Fred Hechinger as Chameleon, Alessandro Nivola as an unknown villain, Levi Miller, and Catch-22 star Christopher Abbott as the main villain, The Foreigner.

Kraven the Hunter movie in theaters nationwide on December 13th, 2024.
