Bryan Fuller Says Conversations Have Started For Return of HANNIBAL
For those of you who are fans of the series Hannibal, you'll be happy to hear that former showrunner Bryan Fuller has confirmed that conversations have started to bring the show back!
The series was canceled in 2015 after its third season and since then fans have been hoping the series would come back in some way for a fourth season. Even though conversations are taking place, Fuller cautions fans that it will take some time. Regardless, it's great to hear that there is now some movement on it!
Fuller explains in the Tweet below why it took so long to get started on the revival.
Conversations couldn't start until 2 years after the final airing of season 3. @neoprod has started those conversations. This takes time.

Fuller has been eager to find a way to bring the series and he already has an idea of how he would like to proceed with Season 4. He previously explained on the Podcast Post Mortem:
“I have conversations with (Hannibal executive producer) Martha De Laurentiis. I have conversations with Mads and Hugh. We’re are all excited about the prospect of returning to the story. There’s some hurdles to get through… [But] I just had a great idea for season 4. There’s an interesting next chapter in the relationship between Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter that would be fascinating to unpack. I’ve shared it with the gentlemen and they’re both keen on it.”
I just hope that if the series gets picked up for a fourth season that Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy will return to their roles of Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham. I don't see the point of continuing the show without them. They also have amazing on screen chemistry!
Hopefully, the series will return one day!
