Bucky's Wakanda Arm Has More Features That Will Be Explored in THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER
After Iron Man destroyed Bucky Barnes’ prosthetic arm in Captain America: Civil War, he got a new one during his time in Wakanda. Shuri made it for him with Wakandan tech, and it’s made out of vibranium. Well, it turns out that this new arm of his has some more features than his last arm, and they will be explored in the upcoming Disney+ series, The Falcon and The Winter Solider.
The new reveal comes from actor Sebastian Stan in a recent interview with CB. When asked which arm he preferred more, he said:
“The one from Wakanda has a couple more features that we haven’t explored yet. So I think I like that one, but I miss the old star. I do. There was something about that. I don’t know, maybe I’ll have to get it back.”
It’ll be interesting to see what Bucky has got up his sleeve. The series started shooting yesterday and he also hinted at what fans can expect from the series, previously saying:
"It’s going to be so cool and kind of crazy. All I can say is it’s just new and different from what you’ve seen so far. I mean, it will be totally in line with everything that has happened and what we’ve seen and so on, but these characters are getting such additional mileage in terms of learning about who they are now, what they feel, what they’re thinking, and there’s a lot of action, comedy, you know there’s going to be comedy. I feel like you’re going to be happy. I think you’re going to be very happy. And there’s some crazy stuff, like stuff you don’t see coming from anywhere.”
The series will also feature Emily VanCamp, who will reprise her role as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Sharon Carter, and part of the story is rumored to revolve around the government not wanting Sam Wilson to be the new Captain America.
Marvel’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier arrives on Disney+ in fall 2020.
