Burger King Releasing A "Nightmare King" Whopper For Halloween

Burger King has been known to do some crazy stuff with its sandwiches in the past, and they’re back at it again with this new Whopper that will give you nightmares. No seriously, the “Nightmare King” is apparently scientifically proven to give you an increased chance of nightmares with its combination of proteins and green bun:

According to previous studies, 4 percent of the population experiences nightmares in any given night,” Dr. Jose Gabriel Medina, a somnologist (sleep disorder specialist) and the study’s lead doctor, said in a statement. “But, after eating the Nightmare King, the data obtained from the study indicated that the incidence of nightmares increased by 3.5 times.

I’m not so sure about all that, but the burger sounds solid. Outside of the green bun you have a burger patty with cheese as well as chicken, bacon, onions, and mayo. NYDailyNews says the Whopper will be available at select BK locations beginning October 22nd and run $6.39. Are you willing to try this one out? I haven’t eaten at Burger King in a long time, but I might hit one up just to try this out.
