Byung-hun Lee, who played the character Storm Shadow in the G.I. Joe movies, has been cast in Terminator: Genesis, in what is said to be a key role. Also joining the cast are  Michael Gladis (Mad Men) and Sandrine Holt. Dayo Okeniyi was also recently cast as Miles Dyson. They join the previously cast Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke as John Connor, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, and J.K. Simmons.

There's no information on who Lee will be playing, but insiders say that it will be a "doozy." Makes me wonder if he'll be some sort of badass martial arts Terminator villain.

The film is the first in a trilogy that will be a continuation of the story that was started by James Cameron. It will weave together several ideas from the previous Terminator movies, and in the process give fans a fresh new story about Skynet's uprising and its plan to wage war on mankind. The movie will be directed by Alan Taylor, and it will be released on July 1st, 2015.
