Cal Kestis Legacy Lightsaber Is Coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge This Month!
Back in 2020, Star Wars fans voted on which legacy lightsaber hilt they wanted to be able to purchase at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. The winner was Cal Kestis’ saber from the hit video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
You’ll be happy to learn that the lightsaber is finally making its big debut at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disney parks later this month on March 25th!
As you’ll see, they made sure to include all of the little details of Cal’s lightsaber including the broken end design as Cal acquires the lightsaber after the weapon is damaged and is only capable of emitting a single blade. But, it does come with a dual lightsaber adapter, so you can recreate the original double-bladed design wielded by Cal’s Master, Jaro Tapal, if you purchase a second hilt.
The actor who plays Cal Kestis in the game, Cameron Monaghan, was recently invited to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort to check out the lightsaber and while there he also went to the Black Spire Outpost and met with the Gatherers at Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers to construct his very own lightsaber.
