California Man Got a Speeding Ticket For Driving 88 MPH in a DeLorean

Over Memorial Day weekend, a Santa Clarita man named Spencer White took his mother out for a ride for the first time in his newly-acquired 1982 DeLorean. And even though his mom was in the car with him, temptation proved too great: he stepped on the gas and got it up to 88 miles per hour as a shout-out to Back to the Future. A California Highway Patrol officer pulled him over and asked him how fast he thought he was going, and everyone burst into laughter. But even though the officer had a sense of humor, he still gave White a ticket. If only he had a time machine so he could go back and correct his mistake...
