CALL OF CTHULHU CLASSIC Is Available Now In Limited Quantities

After a wildly successful Kickstarter, Chaosium has now released their limited edition Call of Cthulhu Classic. These early editions of the game haven’t been in print since the 1980s and with some tweaking can all be used with the current edition of Call of Cthulhu. Here’s the breakdown of what comes in each box:

• Call of Cthulhu Classic 1’’ Box

  • Core Rulebook

    • Written for people without much experience with role playing, this corebook explains all the investigator characteristics, Sanity loss, monsters, rules for the magic system and spells, scenarios, appendices with useful additional materials, and a special 40th anniversary 8 page scenario “Wail of the Witch” by Keith Herber.

  • 1920s Sourcebook

    • A full primer for everything you need to run a game set in the 1920s. It includes information about the cost of goods, distances and travel times, historical background, an expanded weapons list, additional monsters, archaeological dig site plans, and more.

  • The World Map

    • Essential for taking your investigators on a global mission. The red ink map showcases major cities, continents, mountains, rivers, real world archaeological sites, and suspected locations of Mythos entities.

  • Investigator Sheets and Character Silhouettes

    • A set of card character silhouettes that can be cut out and used to show the position of the investigators, monsters, and minions. Alos a collection of blank character sheets and a special additional sheet of silhouettes featuring monsters such as Dimensional Shamblers, Elder Things, Flying Polyps, and even Shoggoths.

  • Classic Keeper Screen

    • A remaster of the original keeper screen that debuted in 1983 with quick reference information.

  • 40th Anniversary Dice

    • These dice are a beautiful blood ruby color and include 3D6 to help make rolling a character as easy as possible.

  • Arkham Poster Map

    • A nice color poster map of Arkham to keep track of the location of your investigators.
