I don't think the geek community can exclusively claim Waldo as his appeal is pretty strong across the board for '80s and '90s kids. What's not to love? Each page in his book was Waldo in a different time and place where even if you couldn't find him, you had a good time laughing at each hilarious situation in the picture.
