Capcom Announces RESIDENT EVIL 2, 3, and 7 Coming to Xbox Series X|S And PlayStation 5

Capcom recently announced that the very popular Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 later this year. Each game will feature ray tracing, high frame rate and 3D audio to enhance thoroughly terrify players.

For PlayStation 5 players, all three titles also feature engaging DualSense support for Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers. If you already own one of these games don’t worry, you’ll be able to upgrade systems at no extra cost and PC players will be given a free upgrade patch.

This is really exciting for fans of the franchise who already own the games and is definitely a good reason to fire up the game to replay if you haven’t in a while. The Resident Evil 2 remake was a masterpiece for me and a shining example of how to rebuild beloved older games.

Resident Evil 3 followed Jill Valentine’s escape from Raccoon City with photo realistic horror. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard brought the first person perspective to the series and should be even more terrifying on the newer systems.

Will you be replaying these games when they hit these new systems? Which one are you looking forward to most?
