Capcom Announces RESIDENT EVIL 4 Remake with Trailer and RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE is Going VR

During the most recent State of Play digital event for PlayStation, Capcom announced a remake for Resident Evil 4 is set to release in roughly 9 months. The game will take the essence of the original game that fans fell in love with and is being boosted with the proprietary RE Engine which provides modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and improved graphics.

Resident Evil 4 is being remade with many of the team members that worked on the very well received Resident Evil 2 remake. You can look forward to enjoying the revamped Resident Evil 4 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 24, 2023. Enjoy the trailer below to see the updates in action.

In addition, Capcom announced that Resident Evil Village is going VR with PlayStation VR2 on PS5. This is sure to create a whole new experience for players with the VR2 headseat’s 4KD HDR display, eye tracking, 3D audio, and more. Resident Evil Village will feature support for PlayStation VR2 Sense and introduce new ways for you to interact with the game. There’s no release date for this experience yet, but you can check out the trailer below.
