Capcom to Release THE GREAT ACE ATTORNEY CHRONICLES in North America and Europe This Summer
Get ready to cross-examine people and yell, “Objection!” this summer as Capcom is releasing The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles for the first time in North America and Europe. Series director Shu Takumi shared in a video that this game tells the story of Phoenix Wright’s ancestor and allows you to be a defense attorney to ensure justice is served. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles features newly recorded English voices for The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve.
Set in the late 19th century during Japan’s Meiji Period and England’s Victorian era, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles follows Ryunosuke Naruhodo as he works to sleuth out the truth in witnesses’ testimonies and clear his clients’ names in court. Players will unravel the mysteries behind 10 thrilling cases alongside a zany cast of over-the-top characters – including the local ace detective Herlock Sholmes.
Players can gather evidence, question witnesses, and defend their clients on July 27. Get ready for a new experience!
During investigations, players will team up with Sholmes to engage in a “Dance of Deduction” to identify mistakes in the detective’s overboard logic and uncover new facts. In the courtroom, players will partake in “Summation Examinations” where they must point out juror discrepancies in hopes of achieving a coveted “Not Guilty” verdict.
In addition, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles will have new bonus content with 8 mini-episodes and 3 alternative costumes as well as a look into the artwork, music, voice work, and more. You can play the game on Nintendo Switch, PC, and PS4 for $39.99. You can also grab a bundle with The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy for $59.99.
