CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR May Cram One More Avenger Into The Film

Regardless of your overall feelings about Avengers: Age of Ultron, I think most fans can agree that the film was practically bursting at the seams with characters. Captain America: Civil War looks to be continuing that trend, and I fear that by the time we reach Avengers: Infinity War, it's going to be complete and utter chaos as the Russo Brothers try to balance the screen time of all of these heroes and villains.

But before we get to the climactic face-off against Thanos, there's a Civil War to fight, and — potential spoiler alert — there might be one more Avenger joining the already-crowded ranks of battle. We've already written about how it's possible The Hulk could appear in this movie, and now here's one more piece of evidence that points to that actually happening.

The Daily Beast spoke with Mark Ruffalo recently, and while the actor wouldn't 100% confirm that he's going to make an appearance in the new movie, this is what he had to say:

“I don’t know! I heard a rumor about that the other day. I haven’t seen a script, nobody’s told me, and I don’t have dates. But I can only hope so!”
“I was talking to Robert Downey the other day, and he said, ‘Ruffalo! I heard you’re coming out here,’ and I said, ‘OK! I’ll be there,’” said Ruffalo, with a chuckle.

I imagine if there's one person aside from Kevin Feige and the Russos who has a good idea about what's happening in the MCU, it'd be Downey. Again, this shouldn't be taken as a complete confirmation, but it certainly seems to indicate that Ruffalo will be showing up in Civil War, and if these recent rumors are true, things are going to get pretty nuts when he does.
