CAPTAIN MARVEL Soars Again in New #1
Some were worried that after Marvel's Secret Wars event, Captain Marvel might be left out in the cold. Wonderfully, that is not true, as Marvel has announced Captain Marvel will be getting a new #1 post-Secret Wars, albeit with a new creative team. I have greatly enjoyed Kelly Sue Deconnick's run on the title, as she has been able to bring a personality to the book that has been unmatched. That said, we have a lot to be positive about, as the new team consists of Agent Carter Executive Producers Michele Fazekas & Tara Butters, along with the slickly stylized art of Kris Anka. This team could really do great things with the character, and I have high hopes. I love the idea of Carol being Earth's defender against extraterrestrial threats, and maybe, juussstttt maybe, that will mean some crossover with Agent Brand, and wouldn't the world be a better place if that happened? My thoughts exactly.
