CAPTAIN MARVEL Star Brie Larson Says She Plans on Directing a Marvel Movie

It's going to be awhile before we get to see Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. Her solo film doesn't even come out until 2019, but the actress is planning to eventually take her involvement with Marvel even further. During a recent interview with The Huffington Post, she was asked if she would ever direct a Marvel film and she said:

"Oh yeah, that’s my plan. Why not? My new life philosophy is I’m not going to tell myself no. I’m just going to do stuff until someone else tells me no."

Larson made her directorial debut with a film called Unicorn Store, which is about a woman named Kit who receives a mysterious invitation that would fulfill her childhood dreams. The movie is described as a "replica of your teenage mood board: It has glitter, splashes of pink, annoying parents, vibrant ribbons and, of course, a shiny white mythological beast."

I have no idea if Larson is a good director or not, but the fact that she is getting out there and getting behind the camera is great! If she keeps it up and ends up making great films, who's to say she won't end up directing a Marvel film one day.

What would you think about the possibility of the Captain Marvel star directing a movie set in the MCU one day?
