CAPTAIN MARVEL Star Brie Larson Was Samus From METROID For Halloween; Should She Play The Character in a Movie?
It looks like Brie Larson is a fan of Metroid. The Captain Marvel actress ended up dressing up as the character Samus from the classic game wearing the popular Zero Suit. She looks great and it made me wonder if she should play the character in a live action film.

I personally wouldn’t mind seeing Larson take on the role of Samus! She’s a great actress that would easily fit the part.
As of right now there is no Metroid movie in development, but Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts, wants to make one and he recently shared his pitch for it that he says is too crazy and doesn't think that anyone will let him make it.
"I have a pitch for a Metroid movie. They'll never let me do it. It's too crazy... It legitimately would be [Samus] alone. It would be a little bit of her talking to herself. As soon as they introduce other talking characters in those games, to me it loses everything. You put her alone and it's almost got a little bit more to do with the silence of a movie like Drive. Like the quietness and having it be like a real, intense mood piece, but mixed with sci-fi."
I personally love this idea and if a Metroid movie happens this is the direction that it needs to go. Of course, I can see why Hollywood might never want make it. But, it’d make for a great film and the addition of Brie Larson would even make it better.
