CAPTAIN TSUBASA: RISE OF NEW CHAMPINOS Gets New Game Mode, New Story, and New DLC Characters
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is getting some new content. Bandai Namco recently announced that the game is getting some new content including a free story update and a new game mode. The free update includes Episode: New Hero where you’ll join Hirado Middle School and rise to greatness. Meanwhile, Freestyle Match is a new game mode that allows you to incorporate various items into your games of soccer. These updates are available now.
In addition, the first of three pieces of DLC is now available. In Episode: Rising Stars DLC Part 1, players will unlock Taro Misaki who is “a cordial player with an artistic technique,” Hikaru Matsuyama who is “known for the strength of his legs and tenacity when holding onto the ball,” and Karl Heinz Schneider who is known as “Germany’s Young Emperor,” an ace striker with a passionate fighting spirit.”
