Cardi B, Julia Stiles, and Keke Palmer Join The Strip Club Heist Film HUSTLERS

It’s been a while since we heard anything about the upcoming stripper heist film Hustlers, and now we have four more names that have been added to the cast.

Cardi B, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, and Julia Stiles have all signed on to the project joining Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu. The film is an adaptation of the New York magazine article, “Hustlers at Scores.” The article talked about former strip club employees who stole tens of thousands of dollars from Wall Street clients.

Jessica Pressler adapted the article for the script and Lorene Scafaria will be directing Hustlers. The film will take place in the late aughts (2000s) when the US was dealing with a big financial crisis. Director Lorene Scafaria previously said this about the film:

“The film is an empathetic look at women and men, our gender roles, what we’re valued for, what we’ve been told is our value in every movie, TV show, every corner of culture. Men have been told they’re worth the size of their bank accounts. Women have been told they’re worth the symmetry of their faces, their bodies, their beauty and that’s what this film is based on. The rules of the club are the rules of the world.”
